When measuring yourself for any piece of women's clothing, measure yourself in a non-padded bra. This will give you the most accurate measurement for a women's dress or other item of women's clothing you're going to buy. And don't pull the tape measure too tight! Your beautiful.
Measure at the natural waistline, just above the hip bone. Remember everything is made in China, so always always go up 2 sizes or at least one size e.g. if you are a Large buy a XXL.
Measure from the natural waistline in a straight line.
Measure from the top of the inside leg to the floor.
Measure around the fullest part of the bust and across the shoulder blades of your back. When measuring the bust for women's underwear and swimwear, follow the bra measuring guidelines.
Measure around the fullest part of your hips. As a guideline this is often 20cm below your natural waistline.
Measure from the centre back neck in a straight line.
This table is for converting between American, Italian, British, French, German, Russian and Japanese women's sizes, for dresses, jacket, coats and blouses. Simply find your size in the chart to see the corresponding size for the other international size systems.
The British sizes are also used in Australia and New Zealand.
The French sizes are also used in Belgium, Spain and Portugal.
The German sizes are also used in Austria, Netherlands,
Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark and Norway.
Please observe that these size charts are only guides to helping you find the right women's sizes. Sizes may differ notably between different clothing manufacturers and brands.
That said, it's no secret the Asian community is generally a bit...smaller...than those of us who live else where and be honest with yourself, always always go one size bigger!
